About the Job
GUY is a Black man in his early to mid 20s with a quirky, offbeat personality who finds himself socially out-of-tune with the world around him. From a sheltered background where his highly imaginative and creative nature was encouraged, Guy finds himself behind on rent, and embarks on his first job interview in an attempt to join the mainstream work culture. He quickly finds out that he just doesn’t fit, and seeks another path. His persona is inspired by Napoleon Dynamite and Darius from Atlanta. Seeking an actor with comedic instincts, and the ability to embody a quirky character.
